Citizens Advice Runnymede and Spelthorne has been awarded 4-year funding to deliver Money Advice from the National Lottery Community Fund.

The Lead Money Adviser will:

  • Deliver advice by telephone and face to face to residents of Surrey providing comprehensive and full range of money/debt advice in line with Financial Conduct Authority regulation and Debt Advice Quality Framework. 
  • Supervise the delivery of money advice across Citizens Advice Runnymede and Spelthorne (CARS) staff and volunteers. 
  • Promote and develop good money/debt advice practice within CARS. 
  • Promote and deliver money advice service of the organisation by attending outreach locations and clients’ homes where required. 

The successful candidate will have experience of providing debt advice and casework and hold accreditation as a DRO Intermediary or have 12 months experience of money advice/debt work in preparation to complete the training for accreditation for DRO Intermediary and responsible for one Money Advice Caseworker. There is the right to request some home working, after a probationary period and agreed with the line manager. You will need to be able to work well as part of a team and independently and be committed to our policies, aims and objectives.
