Part - Time Hours of Work: 22.5 hours per week (Wednesday & Thursday 10am – 6pm and Friday 9am – 5pm)

Salary: Up to £28k gross per annum (pro rata) – depending on experience

Location: Hybrid including Basildon Foodbank new base in the Community Resource Centre in Basildon Town centre.

Fixed Term Contract: initially for 2 years

Working in partnership with Basildon Foodbank and Trussell Trust we are seeking to recruit a new Adviser, to deliver the Citizens Advice service face to face in Foodbank locations across Basildon borough. You will provide information, advice and guidance using be spoke Citizens Advice systems direct to and for local Basildon borough residents who are using the Foodbank. This is primarily a face to face role, full time working 22.5 hours a week. This is an ideal opportunity to extend your existing skills or develop a new career in a highly rewarding role. We want people who are passionate about giving clients the best possible outcome and helping the most in need in our community, especially during these challenging financial times. You will be a highly motivated and strong team player with excellent customer service skills. Experience of delivering Citizens Advice service at advice level or a similar level of competency is desirable, but training can be provided.
