Citizens Advice Newcastle is a well-established charity operating in the City of Newcastle supporting over 8,000 clients a year. We are seeking to appoint an adviser/trainee with particular emphasis on Energy Advice for our Northern Powergrid project working in partnership with Leeds Citizens Advice. The successful candidate will start as soon as possible. You will provide face-to-face, telephone and digital advice. You will have a clear commitment to client care, be highly organised and self-motivated, able to maintain high advice quality standards. Training can be given to fulfil the role and is expected to last for 6 months before progressing to an adviser post.
We particularly welcome applications from disabled and minority ethnic communities, as they are currently under represented in our workforce.
Every local Citizens Advice is a registered charity. Different application procedures are adopted by individual local Citizens Advice. Contact the relevant one as outlined in the information about this role. You should not send an application form to national Citizens Advice.
All local Citizens Advice produce their own annual report, but you can find out more about the Citizens Advice network or download the latest national Citizens Advice annual report.
