Citizens Advice North East Derbyshire has a history of providing advice and support to our local community in accessible locations. We currently have an opportunity for someone to join our service in what is a new project to set up and deliver a service aimed to support and help those digitally excluded to improve their digital skills and learning. We have an exciting new opportunity for someone with good people skills and IT knowledge to join our friendly team. ,

The purpose of the role will include:

  • Provision of digital access, advice and training to members of the community in a variety of community locations
  • Raising awareness and promote the project across the geographical patch of North East Derbyshire and target group
  • Helping to recruit and support a team of volunteers within the project
  • Working in partnership with the local voluntary, community and statutory sector to develop digital access

Due to the nature of the role you will be expected to travel around North East Derbyshire to a number of outreach locations. You will be motivated to work independently to manage your clients and ensure that all administrative work is completed promptly. You will have good communication skills including the ability to present to groups. In addition to outreach work, this role will be based in our Clay Cross office but we are open to requests for a mixture of home and office-based working.
