Would you like to be part of a team that supports people in finding solutions to their money problems and making a difference daily? We are currently looking for trainee advisers to join our friendly and supportive team, funded by the Money & Pensions Service (MaPS) to provide an England-wide phone and digital debt service. The service is free to clients struggling with debts and will offer a full range of support from information and referrals, through to advice and casework, helping clients find a way forward with their debts.

The role you’re applying for will join an existing team of experienced caseworkers who advise clients and provide additional follow-on support to those who need further help to deal with their debt. Our team delivers this service in collaboration with 8 other local Citizens Advice around the country, working together as one National contact centre.

In this role, no client is the same and we work with different people in a variety of ways to help them find a way forward in difficult and challenging times. You will be supporting clients on the phone, and through email and webchat, giving advice, signposting to other organisations, and helping them to access self-help tools. It can sometimes be a challenging role, but you will be provided with thorough training and support.
