We are looking for a self-motivated individual with recent relevant experience of working in a local Citizens Advice or similar advice organisation. You will need to demonstrate a good knowledge and understanding of the main advice areas in particular benefits, debt and housing. This role involves the supervision of advice sessions, providing guidance and assistance to those working in our Edenbridge office as well as to any staff who may be working from home or in outreach locations.

We would ideally like a candidate with previous supervision experience but would consider an adviser with at least two years experience looking to step up to the role. The post is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the day to day service and the implementation of consistent processes to maintain quality standards. You will also work closely with the Training Manager to support the volunteers training and development. You would be joining a small management team who work together to ensure the smooth running of our small local office.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to make a difference in people’s lives, supporting some of the most vulnerable people in society and helping them to find a way forward.

Every local Citizens Advice is a registered charity. Different application procedures are adopted by individual local Citizens Advice. Contact the relevant one as outlined in the information about this role. You should not send an application form to national Citizens Advice.

All local Citizens Advice produce their own annual report, but you can find out more about the Citizens Advice network or download the latest national Citizens Advice annual report.
