Due to exciting new business growth, Citizens Advice Dudley & Wolverhampton is seeking a Welfare Benefits Caseworker (Advising Clients 65+) to join our dedicated team. This role requires an enhanced DBS

Main Job Purpose:

  • To provide a comprehensive and confidential specialist Welfare Benefit service for people who are aged over 65, supporting them to calculate benefit entitlement ensuring they are getting the benefits they are entitled to, complete applications and help with appealing unsuccessful applications
  • To contribute towards the delivery of a comprehensive benefits advice service across the Dudley Borough for clients in line with the requirements of the Dudley Empowerment Partnership contractual obligations ( It is crucial to be able to travel and you may have to visit clients in their own home)
  • Be responsible for managing a caseload of clients and ensure that all records are up-to-date Improve each client’s quality of life; reducing isolation and creating a sense of belonging and connection
