Outreach Advisor

Citizens Advice in West Sussex (North, South, East) is hiring Outreach Advisors to provide advice on benefits and money-related issues. In partnership with local authorities and charities, our advisors work on funded projects, combining co-location and outreach to make a real impact. You will advise residents on debt options, benefits, and budgeting, negotiate with creditors, and identify clients in need of support. Some home visits may be required.

You’ll need excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a mixed caseload. You will also support volunteer development and contribute to social policy by building evidence of your work’s impact. While experience in benefits or debt is ideal, we offer training for the right candidate who demonstrates the necessary skills and attributes.
