You can add content that can only be seen by users in specific countries - England, Wales or Scotland. This is called location-specific content. For users who can see it, it looks the same as other content around it.

The content of location-specific content

You'll need to fill in the fields of the location-specific content so you can publish it.

Location-specific content name

This won't appear on the site, but people will be able to search for the location-specific content by name in Contentful. Add the country in brackets at the end of the name, for example '(England)' or '(E)'.

It won't appear when you add it to a collection. Add the country in brackets - for example, 'My location-specific content (E)' or 'My location-specific content (W)'

Audience

Choose which country can see the location-specific content by ticking the boxes.

Body

This is where you add and edit the contents of the location-specific content. You can do the same things in the body as you can in an advice collection.

Version information

This is where you explain what changes you're publishing. If you're changing existing content, delete anything that's already in the field first.

Try to write the version information so it will make sense to someone who looks at it later without knowing the context. For example:

  • say if it's new location-specific content, or briefly explain what changes you've made

  • if the work is part of a project, include the project name

  • if the change is a maintenance update, include a link to the maintenance Trello ticket

Publishing location-specific content

To publish location-specific content, click the 'Publish' button on the right of the screen.
