Response to Ofgem consultation on strengthening financial resilience

Ofgem was consulting on amended proposals to strengthen the financial resilience of the energy supply sector. Our response concentrated on its decision to water down requirements on suppliers to protect consumer credit balances. We expressed concerns about the discretionary approach it was proposing, stressing the need for it to adequately monitor and enforce the rules.
