Priorities for the Health, Social Care and Sport Committee August 2016

We asked that the committee considers the following as part of its work programme:

how effective the Information, Assistance and Advice services are at meeting the Information & Advice Quality Framework for Wales (IAQF) requirements and that the information provided is of quality-assured standards;
review the number of requests for reassessments under the SSWB Act 2014 and consider the need for an appeals process;
investigate the system of paying for care in Wales;
review how effective the Welsh Government has been in addressing mental health issues;
identify and promote best practice in social care;
keep a watching brief on the implementation of the Well-being of Future Generations Act 2015.

Gofynnwn i’r pwyllgor ystyried y canlynol fel rhan o’i raglen waith:

pa mor effeithiol yw’r gwasanaethau Gwybodaeth, Cymorth a Chyngor o ran bodloni gofynion Fframwaith Sicrhau Ansawdd Gwybodaeth a Chyngor Cymru (FfSAGCh) a bod y wybodaeth a ddarperir o ansawdd sydd wedi’i sicrhau;
adolygu nifer y ceisiadau a geir ar gyfer ailasesu dan Ddeddf GCLl 2014 ac ystyried yr angen am broses apêl;
ymchwilio i’r system ar gyfer talu am ofal yng Nghymru;
adolygu pa mor effeithiol y bu Llywodraeth Cymru wrth fynd i’r afael â materion iechyd meddwl;
nodi a hyrwyddo arferion gorau ym maes gofal cymdeithasol;
cadw golwg fanwl ar y gwaith o weithredu Deddf Llesiant Cenedlaethau’r Dyfodol 2015.
