We are looking for an excellent administrator with an eye for detail to support the HR and Finance roles within the Charity. A busy full time role which will be office based in Chorley. You will need to have a flexible approach and enjoy having a varied workload. Hybrid working is not a consideration as you will need to work closely as apart of a team of 3. Ideally you will have a bookkeeping qualification, excellent PC literacy and be able to pick up new systems with ease.

Finance duties include tasks such as: weekly banking, monthly reconciliation, quarterly petty cash accounts, managing investments, assisting with quarterly reports for funders, VAT returns and assistance in preparing for statutory annual accounts and audit and board meetings. You should have an understanding of setting and working to budgets. HR tasks include up date of sickness records, time off for paid staff, update of policies and procedures, checking annual leave calculations/entry of entitlements into leave system plus adhoc HR and governance tasks as required.
