About the role
Citizens Advice Nottingham & District are looking for full-time Generalist Advisers to join our General Advice team to deliver advice sessions at our City based office and various outreach locations throughout Nottingham City, Rushcliffe and Gedling areas.
Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills with an ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision. You will be organised, self-motivated, able to travel to outreach venues.
Preferably you will have a minimum of six months’ experience of delivering advice (in welfare benefits, housing and employment) in a Local Citizens Advice Office.
If you do not have advice experience, we would provide full training and support to the right candidate.
Successful applicants will be invited to interview on a ‘first-come-first-served’ basis until the posts have been filled. Any applications received after this will not be considered.
Citizens Advice Nottingham & District is committed to promoting equality and valuing diversity and we seek people who share those values.
