Citizens Advice Wirral is a local charity that supports Wirral residents by providing advice, information, casework and social prescribing services. We are recruiting for a Help To Claim adviser to support clients who are making a new Universal Credit claim, working across a variety of channels including telephone, web-chat and video conferencing. Excellent listening and questioning skills will be required in order to interview clients and empower them to set their own priorities. The role will require you to research and explore options and implications for clients and complete benefit checks so that clients can make informed decisions. Where necessary you will act on behalf of clients, some of whom may be vulnerable, using appropriate communication skills and channels.
